The next few days were devoted to Yellowstone and Teton National Parks. We have visited before, but it is a vast region, especially the area outside the parks proper. We had arranged to meet with some friends who wanted to visit the parks, and would spend part of the time with them.
Sunrise over the Tetons.
Some more views from the valley floor.
The aspens were turning gold, and the colors were excellent.
A climb up Signal Mountain provided some more perspective.
Our next stop was Yellowstone NP at the West Geyser Basin.
We found a free camp outside West Yellowstone Village and continued North the next day.
